The workshops and masterclasses on Parent Academy are designed and conducted by Dr. Bhooshan  Shukla. Dr. Bhooshan is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist practicing in Pune, India.

He works as private practitioner and also work with various schools, family court, juvenile justice system, NGOs, Corporate Sector and film industry.  

He believes that each person, despite their challenges in life, deserve to lead a satisfying life. Practical methods that use scientific principles discovered by modern psychology can help achieve exactly that.  
With 25+ years of clinical experience, he works with children, adolescents, and their families to help them deal with their personal and professional/school lives. From CEOs to sportspersons at state, national and international levels, professionals from all walks of life can be helped when the right technique is used.

At the same time, it is his mission to create awareness that people with mental health issues – such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, autism, attention difficulties, academic issues, compulsive disorders – can have a meaningful life too.  He has also trained various professionals who need to address mental health issues in their line of work. These training sessions in India and the UK were for professionals such as doctors, trainee psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, counselors, and even priests.  

As a personal social responsibility, he works to prevent Child Sex Abuse. His work in this area was featured in Amir Khan’s TV show, Satyamev Jayate. (Details: nobadtouch.com)  

Based on the need of the case, I use psychotherapies that will help clients overcome their difficulties in relationships or at school/work.

Prasad Shirgaonkar
 Educator, Tech Evangelist and Speaker with 29+ years of International experience.

Content design, e-learning production and technical delivery platform the Parent Academy is managed by Prasad Shirgaonkar, an Educator, Leader, Tech Evangelist and Speaker with 28+ years of global work experience.
 
Prasad is a versatile Digital Technology expert; areas of expertise include most aspects of Drupal based solutions design, development and implementation.  He has designed and conducted comprehensive training programs on Drupal for customers, partners and employees across the globe.

He was a Speaker at DrupalCon Amsterdam 2014 and DrupalCon Asia 2016, has participated in 10+ DrupalCons in USA and Europe. He was an Expert Speaker or Keynote Speaker at several Drupal Camps in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi.  Currently, a Board Member of Drupal India Association (DIA).

He is a writer and poet by passion. He has authored 3 print and 9 e-books in Marathi. Penned several One Act Plays. Written and Directed Short-films. He regularly writes about Technology and Social media in leading Marathi newspapers.
 
He conducts a workshop titled 'Keeping our kids safe online' for schools and parent groups.
